jammin' in June.....

June was a whirlwind month. I was in and out of labor most of the last half so that put a halt on most things but we did A LOT in the meantime... Luke turned 8 on June 9th. It was the time of the massive floods so plenty of mud to play in at baseball games, etc...
Zack is magnetically attracted to mud.

Luke had brownies at his first slumber party birthday party...

We had tons of fun on the slip and slide that Luke got with his bday money...

And a few hot days at the local pool too....

Cole and Luke did a week of soccer camp with the Des Moines Menace and then we all went to a game.
Cole ran out on the field with his favorite player on the Menace team. Luke chose to watch from the stands with the rest of us.
The boys had a blast at the camp and can't wait to do it again next year!
The Menace players made it so much fun for the kids.... they had wacky hair day, etc....
Daddy and the boys at a Iowa Cubs game....
But mostly, the month was spent in anticipation....

Elli turned on her own (with a lot of coaxing from mommy) and we were able to avoid that scheduling of a C-section. But we had a TON of pre-labor stuff the last half of June. We were sure Elli was going to make her appearance soon. But she stayed put for all of June.
So we took some belly shots to remember this amazing time by...
As you may have guessed, all of her ultrasounds showed her doing wonderfully and we were released from the perinatal center the beginning of June. Praise the Lord!!!
