Music Monday - Here I Am

I love this song!

I don't know about you,

but when something "bad" happens to me

and they seem to all come at me

one after another;

it's easy to just have a pity party.

But God is closest then.

It is at my darkest moments

when I have felt His all consuming love the strongest.

While I wouldn't want to go through those times again,

nor wish them upon anyone else,

I wouldn't change that it happened

because of that powerful experience

and those moments of being held by my Heavenly Father

are the most precious times in my life.

Are you not the closest when it's hardest to stand?

and so does life...

but what you do with your story is up to you.

Do you use it do help others get through

similiar situations?

Do you let it change who you are?

for the better

or become bitter?

I hope that I let Him use me and my story

to bring Him glory and to bring others into His family.

It is painful to relive, yes.

But it's more painful to not listen to Him.
